The Community Trust of Wellington is an independent funder making donations to community organisations in the Wellington region - Wellington, Hutt Valley, Porirua, Kapiti (including Otaki).

Our Vision - "The Wellington region is bold and vibrant, celebrates and sustains its achievements, its diverse cultural community and its physical environment".

Our Objective - to enhance the Wellington region and enrich the lives of the people.

We work to achieve these by funding projects that support at least one of four specific goals. These goals are:

• to be the arts and cultural heartland of New Zealand.
• to have an effective voluntary health, welfare and community sector.
• to protect and preserve our heritage and environment.
• to achieve the highest level of participation in sport and recreation in New Zealand.
