Strategic goals

Our objective is to enhance the Wellington region and enrich the lives of the people. We work to achieve this objective by placing a priority on funding projects that support at least one of four specific goals.
These goals are to:

1. be the arts and cultural heartland of New Zealand
2. have a highly effective and sustainable voluntary and community sector
3. protect and preserve our heritage and environment
4. achieve the highest level of participation in sport and recreation in New Zealand.
