YOUNG COMMUNITY LEADERS AWARDS 2009

The Community Trust of Wellington is calling for nominations for the Young Community Leaders Awards 2009.

The awards are an initiative of The Community Trust of Wellington to recognise the achievements of young people working in the not-for-profit sector in the region. To qualify, nominees need to be under 25, live in Kapiti, Porirua, Upper Hutt, Lower Hutt or Wellington and be active in a leadership role with a voluntary or community organisation.

Five cash awards of $1000 each will be presented at a special ceremony hosted by Their Excellencies The Governor General The Honourable Anand Satyanand and Susan Satyanand.

Nominations are open now and close 31 March 2009. The nomination form is available here.
